Renovation The building, a former commercial structure was renovated into a new facility to house the private law fims, the State of Wisconsin Ligislative Fiscal and Reference Bureau. It is one of the structures surrounding the Capitol Park in which the State Capitol is located. |

The exterior of the commercial structure was removed and two floors added. The
building envelope was reconstructed with a native Wisconsin stone to relate
to the State Capitol. The existing mechanical and electrical systems were abandoned
and completely rebuilt. The HVAC System was designed and built as a closed loop water
source heat pump system that provides flexibility and individual space control.
Electrical and telecommunication systems were updated and designed to provide the
maximum flexibility for revision and updating.
